What to Expect

What to Expect

what to expect at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hot Springs, AR

When considering a visit to a new church, you may be asking yourself questions such as: Will I really be welcome? Will I be conspicuous? How should I dress? Will my kids like it? Will they ask me for money? Am I welcome if I am not sure I believe? At St. Luke’s we want your visit to be a comfortable and blessed one. The following will help you know what to expect when you worship with us.

We have convenient parking on both the street and the parking lot across the street from the church.

When you enter, you will be greeted and given a copy of St. Luke’s worship bulletin by one of our Ushers. The bulletin will guide you through the service and give you the page numbers for hymns sung during the service. It will also include announcements and a calendar for the week. If you would like, an Usher will help you find a seat and answer any questions you may have.

The service begins after the ringing of the bells.

The 8am service of Holy Eucharist offers traditional worship without music. The 10:45 AM service of Holy Eucharist offers a traditional worship style which includes hymns and other musical offerings. Childcare is available in the nursery.

The messages preached at St. Luke’s are practical for life in today’s world and will motivate you to serve Jesus Christ with your whole heart.

We collect the offering at each service to provide an opportunity to participate in the support of our ministries. If you are a visitor, please do not feel obligated to participate.

You need not be concerned about what to wear. All are welcome as they are.

Please do not hesitate to contact the church office with any questions you may have.
