I’m the Rev. Mark Nabors, rector of St Luke’s Episcopal Church in downtown Hot Springs. At St. Luke’s, we strive to be rooted in Jesus’s great commandment to love one another as he loves us.
We love one another through prayer and worship that are ancient and sacramental, yet embrace the modern world with its gifts and concerns.
We love one another through outreach, extending a helping hand to those in need in Hot Springs, and especially to those with no helper.
We love one another in formation. We strive to be a learning church where you can bring your questions, and even your doubts; where we can disagree; where it’s okay to ask why and what if.
We love one another by being a community where it is safe to be who God made you to be, where you are celebrated no matter what your family looks like or where you come from.
We love one another through pastoral care, supporting each other through good times and bad times, in crisis and recovery.
Ultimately, we love one another because God first loves us and the whole world unconditionally.
If you are looking for a community rooted in that kind of love, I hope you will visit us. Whoever you are, and wherever you are in your faith journey, you are truly welcome—and loved—at St Luke’s.
