Community Life
From the parish picnic to Mardi Gras parties, St. Luke’s enjoys getting together for parish-wide fun. We hope you’ll join us! Events throughout the year are sponsored by various ministry groups. If you love parties and want to be part of the party planning process, let us know at info@stlukeshs.org.
We also open our church for community events. We believe part of St. Luke’s mission is to provide hospitality for local groups that need a home. If your group is looking for a place to have meetings, contact us to see if we can help.
All women at St. Luke’s are invited to participate in ECW. They meet once per month and plan various mission activities. Some annual events sponsored by ECW include the Pet Blessing on the first Sunday of October and a Christmas celebration at Aristocrat Manor. All you have to do is show up to be involved!
DOK is an intentional community of women in the Episcopal Church who make vows of prayer, service, and evangelism. Our DOK chapter meets once per month, and has several events throughout the year. Joining DOK is a weeks-long discernment process. If you are interested, we will gladly put you in touch with DOK’s leadership!
Our Men’s Group is getting restarted at St. Luke’s, and we would love for you to be part of it! Contact us at info@stlukeshs.org for more information.
Several support and recovery groups meet at St. Luke’s throughout the week. These include ACA (Adult Children of Alcoholics), AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), and the Hot Springs LGBTQ+ Community Network. Contact the office for more information. If your support group would like to meet at St. Luke’s, please reach out.
The windows in the church are nothing less than works of art. They beautify our space and enhance our worship, and we want to share them with our community. If you or your group would like a window tour, please contact us.
