Ministry Beyond Ourselves
D.A.S.H.-(Disciples All Sharing Hope) supports our neighbors at Mountain View Towers in two ways: contributing to their food pantry for residents with month-end needs and providing and serving a homemade lunch once a month.
Kairos
Jackson House-is an interfaith community crisis center which provides short term emergency assistance to men, women and children. St. Luke’s prepares and serves lunch on the first Monday of each month. We also support this ministry through individual food donations for their food pantry.
Project Hope Food Bank (www.projecthopefoodbank.org)-was started by OUR community to serve OUR community. By supporting the Project HOPE Food Bank we are supporting an organization that “feeds the programs that feed the hungry.”
Samaritan Ministries-is a Rescue Mission to help the homeless of Hot Springs get back on their feet. Members of St. Luke’s prepare and serve the evening meal the first Wednesday of each month.
Cursillo
Kids4Peace- Founded by Dr. Henry Carse, Kids4Peace USA brings together 11-12 year old children - Israelis, Palestinians and Americans - Jews, Christians and Muslims - bridging the religious, cultural, political and physical barriers that separate them and promoting a culture of peace and understanding.
