Our Education classes are designed to help us all "journey Inward," as we learn more about the Bible, our faith, and how they relate to our lives and the world around us.
For the Liturgy of the Word at the 10.45 service, children follow the cross to their own space for Children's Chapel, where they study Gospel reading for the day, offer prayers, and return to join their families for Communion.
Children's Chapel resumes in September.
Adult Education classes will resume on June 17, with Dr Bill Stiebing, guiding us through Near Eastern Thought in the Old Testament.
All are welcome to join us in the Parish Hall for coffee and conversation.
Prior to these seasons of preparation and reflection (the four weeks before Christmas or the six weeks before Easter), the Rev CB Baker, leads a quiet retreat in the church. He offers two meditations which are followed by silence for approximately one hour. The half day retreat ends with Holy Eucharist.
"Renew in these your servants the covenant you made with them at Baptism. Send them forth in the power of the Spirit to perform the service you set before them." EfM offers an opportunity to discover how to respond to the call to Christian service.
